Chapter 89 : New Work Concept
“Ugh… It feels so sticky…”
After a rather intense session earlier, on our way back home, Eunbyeol, who was walking behind me, suddenly muttered.
When I turned around, I saw her walking awkwardly, clearly trying to minimize the discomfort between her legs.
Well, it was understandable—after all, I had released several times inside her.
Watching her expression, I grinned and said:
“Wow, that was thrilling, wasn’t it?”
To be honest, today’s experience was incredibly satisfying. Doing it outside, with the tension of getting caught, added a unique kind of excitement. Maybe that tension even made her feel tighter than usual.
Especially during the last round, something nerve-wracking happened.
A couple who had been jogging decided to take a break on the very bench near where we were hiding.
We had to stand behind a tree, still connected, trying not to make a sound.
I could still vividly remember the pounding of Eunbyeol’s heart.
She was completely exposed, fluids running down her thighs, and her anxiety was through the roof.
Thankfully, the couple left after a few minutes. Any longer, and we might’ve been caught.
When I casually brought it up, she looked annoyed and replied:
“That’s why I said we should’ve gone to a motel the second time. Do you know how scared I was?”
“It’s fine as long as we didn’t get caught. And it was fun, right?”
Honestly, once things had started, going to a motel felt like a waste of money. How many bowls of beef soup could we buy instead?
And truthfully, she seemed to enjoy it more towards the end. She had always been curious about trying something wild like this.
She smirked and asked,
“You’re something else. Who even suggests doing it outdoors on the first go?”
“Hehe.”
“Well… it was fun. See you later.”
“Alright~”
With that, we said our goodbyes under the glow of the streetlights.
The cool night breeze lifted my mood even more.
Today was fun.
I fulfilled a fantasy and, more importantly, came up with a new idea.
‘Time to get to work.’
Normally, after doing it, I’d just want to lie down and be lazy.
But this time, I wanted to sit at my desk right away and start sketching before the ideas faded from my mind.
After all, I’m an artist. I once dreamed of being a webtoon creator, and I still make a living creating.
Naturally, I have passion for creating something new.
“Phew.”
As soon as I got home, I sat at my desk, turned on my computer and tablet.
“Now… where should I start?”
Of course, just because I had an idea didn’t mean I could finish a comic in one night.
Even one good illustration takes hours. Planning the composition, sketching, coloring, and shading—time flies.
And a comic needs at least 30 drawings to show a short story.
So I wasn’t planning to draw the full comic tonight—just setting up the characters, world, and story basics.
I twirled the tablet pen in my fingers.
‘I thought of zombies earlier…’
Zombies are always fun. Mindless monsters that bring natural tension.
But I wasn’t going for horror.
This was going to be a mature comic. So I needed to tweak them for a more adult appeal.
Obviously, no matter how well I draw horror scenes, my audience isn’t into anything gross or taboo.
So I needed a different approach.
Zombies are driven by hunger and destruction. What if I swapped that out?
Tapping the pen, I muttered:
“What if their instincts were replaced with… desire?”
An army of zombie girls, chasing down people like they’re in heat.
Group scenes would be standard. And since it’s a gender-reversed world, I could even include scenes where uninfected women chase infected men.
“Oh…”
Absurd? Yes. But unique—and perfect for catching attention.
It would go viral, whether people liked it or not.
“Not bad.”
I kept adding more settings.
“Infection method… bodily fluids.”
No blood or gore—just something more suggestive.
“Origin story… maybe from an adult toy company?”
A failed experiment mixing aphrodisiacs and other substances?
Infected people would actually look more attractive.
Bit by bit, the worldbuilding was falling into place.
“Hehe… this is insane.”
Even I had to laugh.
It was like something out of a bizarre Japanese animation. But it was undeniably fun.
And the post-apocalyptic setting worked perfectly.
Darkness, chaos, survival… all excellent for variety.
Unlike my old works, I could explore scenes involving multiple characters, different situations, and even morally grey moments.
Maybe even introduce a mad villain who creates a zombie-themed playground.
Despite being a mature comic, I could still weave in a narrative about the clash between meaningless pleasure and human survival.
With so many character types, scenes wouldn’t get repetitive.
‘They told me to draw more men, huh?’
Fine. I’ll draw plenty of men—so many it fills a truck.
Some might be strong, others might be damaged or twisted. That’s what an apocalypse is for.
It was my small act of revenge against those who gave my last comic a thumbs-down.
‘Let’s keep the story simple…’
A classic setup: ordinary people caught in a zombie outbreak, trying to survive.
It’s cliché, but it works.
So I kept brainstorming.
Tap tap.
Soon, the only sound in the room was the tapping of my tablet pen.
This was that rare moment of total focus. It was almost 3 AM, but I wasn’t going to stop now.
Semester break was coming anyway.
‘This is satisfying.’
By the time I finished setting the world and characters, it was already 4 AM.
Looking at the screen, I stood up.
And then—like a proud dictator at a private performance—I clapped softly.
“Bravo, bravo.”
Clap clap.
A quiet applause filled my small room. I didn’t want to wake the neighbors.
But I was confident.
‘This is it.’
This idea will grab attention. It has shock value, novelty, and excitement.
If this doesn’t make waves, then something’s wrong with the world.
With a satisfied grin, I turned off the computer and crawled into bed.
‘I’ll start drawing tomorrow.’
Today, I felt fulfilled.
Now, it’s future-me’s responsibility.
At least one episode should be ready by next week.
‘Looking forward to it.’
And with that, I closed my eyes
